Stockholm University

As Stockholm University is a research intensive university, it has become necessary to obtain a modern system for centrally managing the related research information and facilitating administrative processes. The system is used internally to manage research information, follow-up on the university’s externally funded research and make parts of the information available over the internet to inform about the research carried out at Stockholm University.

With CONVERIS, Stockholm University meets multifaceted needs expressed by different user groups and units.

This includes amongst others

• overviews of approved funding per thematic area, organisational unit, funding body and over time,
• collaboration analyses with other organisations, regions and countries,
• facilitated reporting possibilities towards funding bodies,
• improved support and reduced burden for researchers when applying for grants and handling proposals and contract information,
• decreased costs for administration, for example in connection with grant management, quality improvements of contract information, analysis and monitoring as well as reporting and audits.
