Inserm Transfert

Inserm Transfert, the technology transfer office for Inserm (Institut National de la Santé et la Recherche Médicale), implements CONVERIS. Inserm is one of the Europe’s largest public research organisation in the biomedical field and a key stakeholder in European health research. Inserm Transfert as manager of most of EU-funded projects coordinated by Inserm strives to make the information on EU projects, publications, patents and technology offers related to these projects more efficient.

This will be achieved with the CONVERIS based research information system, as CONVERIS will reuse existing information on EC funded projects, publications available in PubMed, patent data from the European Patent Office (EPO) and other sources. CONVERIS will include various functionalities to support internal workflows.

This will reduce the workload on researchers and administrators, as they merely need to review, validate and complete the information that has been collected and imported from the external sources. At the same time, administrators and managers interested in an aggregated view of the research and results will be able to access all that information.
