Customised export

This module makes it possible to export any combination of data from CONVERIS for further analyses in e.g. Excel. This is done in a stepwise approach, described through the following:

Define your question and decide what information you need to answer it. E.g. “I want a list of all publications within a certain area, for all persons working at a certain organisation unit”.
Select the first Information Type (e.g. Area). You will then be presented with a list of all attributes for the selected type of information. Select all attributes you want to include in the export. You will at the same time be presented a pull-down with all relations the IOT has to other Information Types (e.g. projects, publications, etc.)
For the next Information Type, the procedure is identical. Select the relation you are interested in (e.g. publications). As in (2), you will then be presented with a list of all attributes for the selected Information Type. Mark the attributes you want to include in the export. You will at the same time be presented a pull-down with all relations the IOT has to other IOTs (e.g. persons, patents, etc.)
Continue to select information types and their attributes until all data you want to include in your export file has been taken into consideration.
Click on “Create export file”. The file is then generated and possible to either save or directly open in Excel.
