Public Web

With CONVERIS you can make selected parts of your research information visible in the public web - with two optional modules:

  • CONVERIS public web
  • CONVERIS web services

CONVERIS public web

The Public web module is a Research portal that gives public access to selected parts of the information in the system over the Internet. CONVERIS is freely configurable in what type and part of information - publications, projects etc. -  should be displayed publicly. Furthermore, the researcher decides on a case-by-case basis which information to publish and which not.

CONVERIS public web stands out for its clear navigation options and search functions. A thematic search is also possible; users thus profit from quickly gaining an overview on all research information and activities published to one specific topic.

Additional search options for persons or organisational units, clearly structured overview listings, detailed views on specific content and last but not least an intuitive navigation help to quickly find the information desired.

The optics of the web portal can be fully adjusted to the respective corporate design.

CONVERIS web services

With the CONVERIS web services we offer you a second option to present research information automatically on web pages. Web services are primarily used to display a set of information on the institution's web pages, on the web page of a department or on profile pages of individual researchers.

Scope of service:
  • Display of content (e.g. researcher profiles, projects, publications) on any websites
  • RSS / Atom-Feeds to syndicate content from CONVERIS automatically (e.g. information feeds from individual researchers, organisational units or departments)
