Universidade Nova de Lisboa is implementing CONVERIS
Management and storage of research information is high on the agenda of research intensive Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Europe, particularly in the current climate where research assessment and funding are becoming more closely tied to research metrics.
Therefore, the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL) has chosen to implement CONVERIS to continuously collect and quality assure its research information.
With CONVERIS, UNL will be able to effectively analyse and communicate its scientific activities, such as projects and publications, as well as plan and model its future research.
In order to ensure that UNL can reuse as much already existing information as possible, AVEDAS will pre-fill and automatically update the research information system with project and publication data from external sources. Furthermore, CONVERIS will be integrated with some in-house systems and replace others, meaning that the UNL will with CONVERIS get one single and central system in which managers, administrators and researchers can access up to date, quality assured and comprehensive information on their research activities and results.
