Launch of HealthCompetence.eu at the Bio International Convention in Chicago

In May 2010, AVEDAS has launched Healthcompetence.eu, its new pan-European Research Information System within Health Science, at the Bio International Convention in Chicago.

HealthCompetence is a EU-funded support action implemented by a consortium consisting of AVEDAS, Inserm Transfert SA and the European Federation of Biotechnology.

The system presents all the projects funded by the European Commission since 2004 within Life Science and Health, facilitates collaboration and partnerships between academia and industry and offers a broad vision of international and multidisciplinary cooperation in Europe. For each project, HealthCompetence.eu displays general information but even its results in terms of technology offers, patents and publications. By structuring this information thematically, HealthCompetence.eu allows searching for activities and players in certain research or disease areas and hence facilitates the identification of suitable collaboration partners and the dissemination of the research results.
