AVEDAS leads winning consortium to evaluate the European Commission's 6th Framework programme

Networks are increasingly seen as a critical element in promoting competitiveness and innovative capabilities in research and technology. The European Commission has therefore decided to utilise the AVEDAS competences related to data management and network analysis in order to get an improved understanding of the relationship between RTD networks and European competitiveness as well as of the impact that EC funding has on this relationship and on RTD network formation. AVEDAS supports the EC to fulfil the above purpose through the development of a database containing all EU projects and a set of analyses involving RTD networks, innovation activities, and related policies.
